In recent years, as part of the drive to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, significant attention is now being directed towards the energy produced by large-scale photovoltaic (solar), wind, and biomass energy power generation. The total power generation capacity of facilities for these new energy sources is expected to exceed that produced by nuclear energy by approximately 2030.
